What are NormaTec compression boots?
It is a treatment often used by athletes and people dedicated to their fitness used to increase our blood circulation, reduce muscle soreness and help them perform effectively.
What do they feel like?
You’ll feel pressure beginning around your ankles, then up the legs, mimicking the feeling of a deep tissue massage. The whole procedure is soothing and calming.
How Does NormaTec compression work in the recovery process?
NormaTec compression machines utilize a patented PULSE Massage Pattern technology: First, a NormaTec session begins with a ‘pre-inflate cycle’. During this process, the leg molds of the boots will be molded into the exact shapes of your limbs. This process takes around 90 seconds. Next, you’ll begin to feel the compression. The pulsing will start at your feet and work your way up the leg.
